North Canterbury Play Date is becoming an increasingly popular resource that supports parents of young children in North Canterbury. It provides sought after information, such as details on local play and music groups, preschooler classes, local activities, playgrounds, child-friendly walks and cafes/restaurants and more.
As someone who was, in the last few years, both a new mother and a new resident of Rangiora, I know the value and support provided by having easy access to up-to-date, relevant, information. Since then, I have also trained to become a volunteer breastfeeding peer supporter with Mother4Mother. I enjoy supporting my community with this resource and as a peer supporter.
I am currently funding this website out of my own pocket. Hosting subscription fees and the domain name are up around $300 annually. In order to sustain this website long term and to continue its development for the benefit of our community, I need to fundraise. This is where Featured Listings come in…
